Tim McClure

Tim McClure is a strategic advisor to entrepreneurs, investors, CEOs and their leadership teams. The founder of Blue Oak LLC, Tim has 25 years of experience conducting market research, developing strategy, leading business model innovation and optimizing organizational performance. He takes a holistic approach to helping businesses set and achieve goals, fostering collaboration and creating cross-functional alignment.

Tim has spent his entire career as a management consultant.  He was a founder of Velocity Advisors, Inc., a consulting and research firm specializing in market dynamics.  From 2003 to 2012 Velocity provided project-based consulting services to clients across North America.  Earlier in his career Tim was a Senior Manager in the Business Consulting Practice of Andersen LLP and he also worked as a Director with Fourth Floor Consulting, a specialized firm focused on strategy execution.

Throughout his career, Tim has worked directly with investment groups, business owners, and executive teams to install systems to assess and improve business performance. He works with a diverse group of clients, including: start-ups and early stage businesses, family-owned companies, privately held market leaders and publicly traded corporations in a wide range of industries and markets.
